Chapter 42
She was tucked up against his chest, fast asleep. He’d carried her to his bed after kissing her again. He devoured the taste of her skin and tongue until they were both too exhausted to carry on. He could feel a tender spot just below the collar of his shirt where she’d left a mark that was sure to bruise. He hadn’t had a hickey in years, he forgot how much he’d enjoyed the feeling. He eyed a matching mark, a little too high on Lillian’s neck. He blushed to himself. They were a little too old for visible hickies. But giving her the little love bite had been almost as good as getting one. The way she cried out and arched into him, digging her nails into the skin of his back. He shivered at the feeling. He thought she might have bruises where his fingers dug into her waist when he’d gotten his.
Brayden relished in all the things he’d learned about her. He relished in the fact he wasn’t going to have to hold back. He usually wasn’t too rough with the women he’d been with in the last few years. Grown women were far less interested in strangers squeezing their throats and forcing them into mattresses without a few dates under their belts, which Brayden was less interested in. He preened at the way Lillian had gripped his hand around her throat and squeezed it tighter. He deliberated Valentines. Would he keep it romantic and slow the way he’d planned? Or would he show her just how rough she could have it, if she wanted it? No, slow was right, he’d save spitting in her mouth and bite marks for later. Thoughts of all the horrible things he would do to make her cum flashed in front of his eyes. He puffed out and put a hand over his eyes. He needed to practice pacing himself. The credits of the movie they had been watching played over the screen.
“Ann, Ann.” He whispered, running his hand up and down her back.
A sleepy sound answered him.
“It’s late, did you want to spend the night?” He whispered back.
“How late?” She finally answered, stretching an arm over her head.
“It’s 11 o’clock. And” Peaking out the window behind him. “It’s snowed about 15cm since 8 o’clock.”
A distressed sound rolled out of her as she rolled to bury her face in his stomach.
“I’ll drive you home if you want, I know you’ll hate this but, I’d prefer it if you didn’t drive in this weather.”
He watched her bristle at his words, but she didn’t sit up.
“Is it blizzarding?” She mumbled.
“It looks pretty bad out there, I think so.”
She groaned and finally rolled off him.
“No, I’ll stay. You shouldn’t be out there either.” Stretching again. “Can I use your shower though?”
“Of course. Maybe I’ll join you.” Winking at her newly expose face.
“Not likely.” Lillian laughed.
“Oh please, you invited me first.” Brayden teased.
She wiggled her way off the bed, standing at the foot now.
“I had just cum properly for the first time in months, I was being imprudent.” Putting her hands on her hips.
“Well, we could do that again, it has been over a month now. No one should go that long without coming.” A feral grin crossing his face.
“Who says it’s been over a month?” Wiggling her eyebrows at him before skipping out the bedroom door.
A rich laugh bubbled out of Brayden after a moment of shock. An answering laugh reached him from across the apartment. He leaned back into his pillows and smiled at his ceiling. A wonderful idea crossed him mind. Jumping up and into the closet he gathered a t-shirt and two pairs of his own underwear traipsing across the apartment giddily. He knocked on the bathroom door.
“Yeah?” He heard her call over the running water.
“Can I come in, nothing nefarious, I swear.”
“I don’t believe you for a second, but sure.” He could hear the way she rolled her eyes.
He opened the door and realized the shower curtain wasn’t opaque enough to stop him from seeing the shape of her in the shower. That was not something he knew before, but was not something he would forget. Grinning wide he placed his bundle on the counter.
“Can I hang out?” He drawled casually.
“Sure, I don’t mind.” He could see her tilting her head back into the water.
Brayden busied himself with getting comfortable on the lid of the toilet.
“Also, why do you have my shampoo and conditioner in here?” He watched her arm reach out as she pulled the curtain so she could poke her head out to look at him.
“And body wash.” He added with a toothy smile. “I figured you’d need that stuff if you ever slept over.” Shrugging.
“Was the second pink loofah really necessary?”
“Of course. I think what you’re trying to say is “Thank you for being so kind and hospitable Brayden, you’re so nice, I love you so much.”” Teasing her.
He heard her sigh and watched her shake her head before she poked it back out the curtain.
“Thank you, stalker.” Smiling wide at him before disappearing again.
“Rude!” He cried back.
Her giggles were muffled by the splashing water.
“Thank you, for serious. You are very thoughtful, and I do love you.” Barely audible over the water.
“I wanted you to be able to stay over whenever you wanted.” He answered.
“Any other surprises like this for me?”
He was going to keep the drawer in his closet with brand new underwear he’d bought her when he saw that stupid sale on a secret a little longer. He blushed and rubbed the back of his head.
“Maybe?” He called back.
“Maybe? What did you do?” She replied accusingly.
“So, I knew this was little much when I did it, but I was possessed okay.” Trying to reason his way out of it. “There is a drawer in the closet with underwear for you in it.” He prayed.
Lillian’s head darted out again.
“You didn’t!”
“I did. They were on that stupid 5 for $35 sale and I was emboldened because you were finally being receptive about the furniture and stuff.” Brayden blushed, trying to smile innocently.
“And when were you going to tell me?”
“Possibly never. I didn’t know how you would react.”
She huffed at him glancing at the little pile he’d brought with him into the bathroom.
“So, I assume there is no secret new underwear in that pile you brought with you.”
“No.”
He looked up at her, ready for her most withering look. He expected some spiel about making assumptions or being frivolous.
“You’re being silly. While it’s definitely presumptuous it’s also really thoughtful. I’m sure they all look like you were thinking about something though.” She smiled sweetly and a little teasingly.
“It wasn’t something I wasn’t thinking about.” Flirting back.
Lillian just rolled her eyes and smiled at him earnestly before dipping behind the curtain again. They chatted easily while she finished. She pulled a towel off the rung next to the shower quickly, exposing a wet shoulder to him. He watched it greedily as it slipped back into the shower.
“I’m going to shower too.”
“Mmk.” She appeared wrapped in the towel snuggly, dripping hair on her shoulders.
“I forgot you needed another towel, sorry.” Brayden smiled guiltily.
“Brayden, you’ve done more than enough. Don’t worry about it.” Looking up at him sweetly. “I know where they are.”
“Okay.” He nodded, dropping a kiss on her head.
He noted the hickey on her neck again and felt his face heat. He looked away quickly, pulling his own shirt over his head. Lillian squeaked. By the time he was looking at her again she was busying herself with a towel. Her face was red all the way to her ears.
“What’s got you so flustered? You’ve seen me shirtless plenty.” Brayden quizzed.
“That’s not it.” She tried to say evenly.
“So, what is it?” unbuttoning his jeans and fly.
“I think I may have left more of a mark than I thought.” She grumbled.
“Really?” Brayden leaned over to look in the mirror.
His jeans hung low on his lips, revealing the uppermost parts of his green underwear. He watched her eyes linger before he glanced fiendishly in the mirror. A healthy sized purple mark sat on his collarbone. He noticed another slightly purple mark on his left peck.
“Well.” He started, grinning down at her. “I guess we match pretty good.” Gently brushing his fingers across the mark on her own neck.
She looked in the mirror swiftly finding the generously sized purple mark on her throat.
“Oh dear.” She mumbled.
“I think I’m a little guiltier than you.” Sheepishly rubbing the back of his head.
Lillian was still looking at the mark, the blush still high on her cheeks. Brayden looked down at her drinking the obvious look of want on her face in deeply.
“The next one I’ll leave somewhere a little more inconspicuous.” He winked.
Lillian startled and just nodded dazedly back at him. Brayden chuckled, turning away from her to shuffle his jean off. He heard her turn all the way around while he shucked his underwear off before climbing into the shower. Lillian gasped.
“Brayden! That shower curtain…” She started.
Brayden just laughed and peeked his head out, turning the water on.
“I noticed when I came in.”
“You are such a sneak.” She grumbled back.
“Yeah, but you’re still going to stay and watch the show, aren’t you?” Teasing her.
Lillian huffed indignantly, but didn’t leave. Brayden grinned to himself.
She was sat where he had been sitting, knees to her chest, in his shirt and underwear. Her hair had left wet spots on the shirt. Brayden’s towel hung loosely and low on his hips.
“Sticking around for this show too, love?” Winking at her, crossing his arms across his chest.
“Nope.” Throwing her hands up in surrender and leaving him in the bathroom alone.
He preened at the way she had looked in his clothes before readying himself for bed. He dried quickly, brushed his teeth, and pulled the other pair of underwear he’d brought, on. He padded barefoot back into the bedroom, where Lillian was sat cross legged on the blanket.
“C’mon, crawl in. I’ll take you to school in the morning before the couch gets here and pick you up, okay?” Motioning her under the blankets.
She stared blankly at his chest, eyes dragging lower before she threw herself under the blankets.
A muffled “Okay” reached him before he followed her under the covers.
He tucked her back up against him, wrapping his arm around her and kissing the top of her head. She wiggled against him, her ass pressing harder into his groin. He squeezed her gently, forcing his eyes closed. Faster than he thought, he was asleep, holding her tightly.
